British model turned-actor Alexandra Taylor is the latest addition to the cast of Bagha Jatin. She announced the exciting news from her social media handle on 1st March 2023 and thanked Superstar Dev and director Arun Roy for giving her the opportunity.
Alexandra Taylor made her debut in Tollywood with the romantic comedy film Ogo Bideshini opposite Ankush. It is certainly a big opportunity for her to get the chance to work with Dev who is delivering back-to-back blockbuster movies like Golondaaj, Tonic, Kishmish, Kacher Manush, & Projapoti.
The period drama Bagha Jatin is directed by Arun Roy and it will be released in theatres this Durga Puja. Superstar Dev will portray the character of Jatindranath Mukhopadhyay while Sreeja Dutta will be seen playing the character of Jatindranath Mukhopadhyay’s wife Indubala.
The film marks the maiden collaboration between actor Dev and director Arun Roy & the biggest project in Arun Roy’s career who has earlier directed movies like 8/12 Binay Badal Dinesh, Hiralal, & Egaro: The Immortal XI. Dev will be also featured in upcoming films like Durgo Rahasya, Raghu Dakat, & Tonic 2.
