Bagha Jatin will Release in Hindi & Bengali simultaneously this Durga Puja:

Bagha Jatin, a period drama film, is set to be released in Hindi and Bengali simultaneously during the auspicious occasion of Durga Puja and Navratri on 20th October 2023. Superstar Dev, in a recent social media post on 23rd June 2023, announced this exciting news and shared the new poster of the film. Dev's portrayal of Jatindranath Mukherjee, the famous freedom fighter, is so convincing that it becomes difficult to distinguish him from the real person.

It's truly encouraging to witness Bengali films making an effort to reach national audiences. Just like the action thriller Chengiz, starring Jeet, which had a Pan-India release, Bagha Jatin aims to captivate audiences across the country.

Directed by Arun Roy, the film showcases the remarkable life of Jatindranath Mukherjee. Gopi Bhagat serves as the Director of Photography (DOP), and Nilayan Chatterjee is the music composer. The film is produced by Dev Entertainment Ventures. Bagha Jatin was officially announced by Dev on India's 75th Independence Day.

Given Dev's track record of delivering consecutive super-hit movies like Golondaaj, Projapoti, and Tonic, and receiving appreciation for Kishmish and Kacher Manush, the expectations from Bagha Jatin are sky-high. Sreeja Dutta as Jatindranath Mukherjee’s wife Indubala opposite Dev in Bagha Jatin:

Sreeja Dutta, known for her appearances in a music video directed by Raj Chakraborty titled "Elo Maa Dugga Thakur" alongside Arya Dasgupta, and a television commercial featuring Mimi Chakraborty, is set to make her big screen debut in Bagha Jatin. In this film, she will be playing the role of Indubala, the wife of Jatindranath Mukherjee. It is indeed a significant challenge for her to work alongside Dev on her debut, and it will be intriguing to witness her performance.
