Dugdugi (2023) Bengali Web Series: Another Collaboration of Anirban Chakraborti & Joydeep Mukherjee

On July 8, 2023, Hoichoi unveiled the official poster for the highly anticipated web series titled 'Dugdugi'. Directed by Joydeep Mukherjee, the series is an adaptation of a novel by Ullas Mallick. Starring Anirban Chakrabarti in the lead role, Dugdugi promises to captivate viewers with its intriguing storyline.

The narrative revolves around Abanish (played by Anirban Chakraborti), a middle-class man who has been subjected to constant criticism from his community due to his inability to father a child. Complicating matters, he engages in an extramarital affair with Tuktuki. The plot takes an exciting turn when Abanish's wife mysteriously goes missing. The gripping screenplay and dialogues, penned by Padmanabha Dasgupta, will uncover whether Abanish succeeds in finding his missing wife.

Anirban Chakraborti, who takes on the lead role in the series, is set to be the standout performer.
