Badami Hyenar Kobole (2024): Debaloy Bhattacharya & Abir Chatterjee's 2nd collaboration
On December 6, 2023, Hoichoi Studios confirmed the release date of their inaugural film, Shri Swapankumarer Badami Hyenar Kobole, directed by Debaloy Bhattacharya. A new poster, featuring Paran Bandopadhyay and Abir Chatterjee, was unveiled, highlighting the release date.
Abir Chatterjee, portraying Detective Dipak Chatterjee, embarks on a quest to apprehend international terrorist Badami Hyena, while Paran Bandopadhyay takes on the role of Shri Swapan Kumar.
Pratik Dutta, who recently delivered a good performance in Chhotolok on ZEE5, assumes the character of Ratanlal, and Shruti Das from Srijit Mukherji’s X=Prem plays Tashi.
This film marks the second collaboration between Debaloy Bhattacharya and Abir Chatterjee after Biday Byomkesh. Ramyadip Saha handles the cinematography, Sanglap Bhowmik oversees the editing, and Amit Chatterjee is responsible for music composition and background score.
Debaloy Bhattacharya, the director and writer, has previously directed films such as Biday Byomkesh (2018), Dracula Sir (2020), and Roga Howar Sohoj Upay (2015). His latest releases include P I Meena and Indubala Bhaater Hotel in the current year.
Abir Chatterjee, last seen in Raktabeej, is set to feature in the Arjunn Dutta's upcoming film Deep Fridge, while Paran Bandopadhyay will be seen in Dev starring Pradhan.
