Pradhan (2023) Bengali Movie: First Look Poster Unveiled

On the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras, which fell on November 10, 2023, Director Avijit Sen unveiled the first look poster for his upcoming romantic comedy film Pradhan. Confirming its theatrical release this Christmas, the director introduced the official first-look poster featuring the trio of Dev (in a Police uniform), Paran Bandopadhyay, and Anirban Chakrabarti.

The film's musical composition will be a collaborative effort between Shantanu Moitra and Rathijeet. Sujoy Dutta Roy is set to take on the editing responsibilities, ensuring a seamless flow in the narrative. Behind the lens, the cinematography will be handled by Gopi Bhagat, promising visually stunning sequences that complement the overall cinematic experience.

Pradhan: No More Fear marks Dev's third film of 2023, following Byomkesh O Durgo Rahasya and Bagha Jatin, and is set to explore a contemporary issue. This film also signifies Avijit Sen's third directorial venture after the successful outings of Tonic and Projapoti, raising expectations for another box-office triumph.

Produced by Dev Entertainment Ventures and Bengal Talkies, Pradhan signifies the third collaboration between Dev and Avijit Sen. Dev takes on the role of Deepak Pradhan, the male lead, while newcomer Soumitrisha Kundu makes her big-screen debut as the female lead. Paran Bandopadhyay, Anirban Chakrabarti, and Soham Chakraborty play crucial roles in the film. The shooting predominantly took place in various parts of North Bengal, including the hill areas.

For Soham Chakraborty, this film becomes his fourth film of 2023, following Jai Kali Kalkattawali, LSD: Laal Suitcase Ta Dekhechen?, and Angshuman MBA. Paran Bandopadhyay, on the other hand, adds this film to his extensive list of projects in 2023, including Dilkhush, Mayar Jonjal, Angshuman MBA, Badami Hyenar Kobole, and Abar Proloy.

For Soumitrisha Kundu, known for her role in the TV show Mithai, this film presents a significant challenge as she makes her debut on the big screen alongside Dev. Anirban Chakrabarti is busy with his next project Tungkulung E Eken Khuner Age Khuni Khoja.

Pradhan also reunites Dev and Soham Chakraborty for the second time after their maiden collaboration in Shudhu Tomari Jonyo. Additionally, Dev and Paran Bandopadhyay joined forces again, following their successful collaboration in Tonic in 2021. The film promises an engaging storyline, stellar performances, and the magic of a seasoned cast, setting the stage for another success for Director Avijit Sen.
