Vedaa (2024) Movie First Look Poster: Nikkhil Advani & John Abraham's 3rd Collaboration

On February 7, 2024, ZEE Studios unveiled the first look poster of their upcoming action thriller film Vedaa. Directed by Nikkhil Advani, the film stars John Abraham in the lead role.

The story of Vedaa has been written by Aseem Arora, and the film has been produced by Zee Studios, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, and John Abraham, and co-produced by Minnakshi Das. The film marks the 3rd collaboration between John Abraham and Nikkhil Advani after Salaam E Ishq and Batla House, and the actor-director pair has reunited after 5 years since their last release, Batla House, in 2019. 

Sharvari Wagh, who made her acting debut with Bunty Aur Babli 2, is the female lead of this film, and she will also be featured in the upcoming film Maharaja. Abhishek Banerjee will be seen in a crucial role in this film. This is the first time we will see John Abraham and Abhishek Banerjee together on screen.

The first look poster features John Abraham with an intense rugged look, keeping one eye hidden by a weapon, while Sharvari Wagh is seen behind him with teary eyes. The film is said to be inspired by real events, and most of the shooting was done around Srinagar and Kashmir. Vedaa marks Nikhil Advani's 12th directorial venture. He has previously delivered blockbuster films like Kal Ho Naa Ho, Salaam E Ishq, Patiala House, and Batla House.

John Abraham was last seen in Siddharth Anand's directorial Pathaan and had impressed with an outstanding performance in the negative role. He will also be seen in upcoming films like The Diplomat, Tariq, and Tehran. Abhishek Banerjee was last seen in Apurva and will also be featured in director Amar Kaushik's Stree 2.
