On 5th February 2024, Netflix unveiled an announcement video of their upcoming mystery thriller Murder Mubarak. Directed by Homi Adajania the film stars Pankaj Tripathi, Sara Ali Khan, Vijay Varma, Karisma Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, Sanjay Kapoor, Tisca Chopra, & Suhail Nayyar in the lead roles.
The nearly one-and-a-half-minute teaser begins with Pankaj Tripathi as an investigator posing the question, "What does a murderer look like?" He has seven suspects on his list and describes them differently
He asks, "Is the killer anyone like a princess from South Delhi (Sara Ali Khan), or a deadly lover from Chandni Chowk (Vijay Varma), a legendary dream girl from old suspense films (Karisma Kapoor), a drunken, goalless artist (Dimple Kapadia), a gossipmonger (Tisca Chopra), a party animal (Sahil Nayyar), someone belonging to a royal family (Sanjay Kapoor)?"
At the end, he says, "In reality, most killers are ordinary men and women like you and me. They could possibly be sitting next to you right now, quietly smiling, and silently congratulating themselves on committing the perfect murder." Pankaj Tripathi, the star cast, and the background score are amazing in this teaser.
Linesh Desai has looked after the cinematography of this mystery thriller, which has been produced by Dinesh Vijan under the production house Maddock Films. The film marks Pankaj Tripathi & Homi Adajania's maiden collaboration.
The film marks Karisma Kapoor's return after more than 11 years since her last appearance in Dangerous Ishq in 2012. Pankaj Tripathi was last seen in Main Atal Hoon, and he will also be featured in upcoming films like Stree 2 and Metro In Dino... Sara Ali Khan was last seen in Zara Hatke Zara Bachke opposite Vicky Kaushal, and she will also be featured in Ae Watan Mere Watan and Metro In Dino...
Vijay Varma was last seen in Jaane Jaan, and his upcoming lineups include Suriya43, UI Jalool Ishq.
