On February 6th, 2024, Chorki unveiled the trailer for their upcoming film Peyarar Subash, set to hit theaters on February 9th, 2024, in Bangladesh. Directed by Nurul Alam Atique, the film stars Jaya Ahsan and Tariq Anam Khan in the lead roles, with Sushama Sarkar, Nur Imran Mithu, and Ahmed Rubel in supporting roles.
The nearly one-and-a-half-minute trailer provides a brief overview of the plot, which centers around marital rape. The story follows Peyara (Jaya Ahsan), who is compelled to marry an older man (Tariq Anam Khan) at her family's behest and subsequently endures daily abuse at his hands. Peyara's emotional pain and personal struggles form a central theme of the film, with her eventual revenge serving as a key plot point. Sushama Sarkar portrays the role of Asma in the film, which was jointly produced by Alpha-I and Chorki.
