Ararat (2024) Web Series Trailer Review:
On 8th February 2024, the OTT platform Binge unveiled the trailer of their upcoming mystery thriller Ararat. Directed by Vicky Zahed, the series features Mehazabien Chowdhury & Shamol Mawla in the lead roles.
The nearly 2-and-a-half-minute trailer begins with a romantic scene between Rifat (Shamol Mawla) and Rupa (Mehazabien Chowdhury). Rifat is seen throwing flowers on Rupa, and Rupa says that she will directly marry him. Human tendency is always to stick to someone who does not want to stay with them and to ignore those who want to stay with them.
Rifat says to Rupa that he is ready to fight with 100 people who want her, but he cannot fight with that one person whom she wants. In another scene, Rupa is seen trying to kill herself with a knife, and Rifat is trying to stop her from doing this.
The trailer highlights the relationship complexities between Rifat and Rupa and how their characters are changing. You will see both maintaining good bonding in a few scenes while they are getting violent with each other in others.
The trailer edit has been nicely done, keeping the storyline a secret. The character presentation, cinematography, and background score are impressive in the trailer. Expectations from the makers of Redrum, The Silence, & Ami Ki Tumi are quite high.
Ararat marks the 13th collaboration between Vicky Zahed and Mehazabien Chowdhury. They previously collaborated in Irina, Jonmodaag, Punorjonmo, Punorjonmo 2, Chirokal Aaj, Punorjonmo 3, Chompa House, Ghun, Redrum, Kajoler Dinratri, The Silence, & Ami Ki Tumi.
Vicky Zahed's directorial recently released web series Tikit is currently streaming on Chorki. Last year, Mehazabien Chowdhury & Shamol Mawla were seen together in Ami Ki Tumi & The Silence.
