Director Sandeep Modi, renowned for his work on projects such as The Night Manager, Aarya, and Chumbak, is set to helm an upcoming film featuring Kartik Aaryan. The film is being produced by the collaborative efforts of Karan Johar, Ektaa Kapoor, and Apoorva Mehta. The announcement was made on Kartik Aaryan's 33rd birthday, which occurred on November 22, 2023.
While the film's title has yet to be officially confirmed, Kartik Aaryan's tweet hints at a project delving into a significant chapter of Indian history, characterized by valor and sacrifice. This suggests a possible focus on a patriotic theme or the life of an Indian freedom fighter.
This venture marks the first collaboration between Kartik Aaryan and director Sandeep Modi, as well as Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar, along with a maiden partnership between Dharma Productions and Balaji Telefilms. It's worth noting that Kartik Aaryan has previously collaborated with Balaji Telefilms on the film Freddy. Despite earlier speculation surrounding Dostana 2 and the subsequent decision to recast and reshoot, Kartik Aaryan continues to be involved in other significant projects.
