Nandini (2023) Bengali Web Series on Addatimes Trailer: Falak Mir's directorial debut looks captivating

On October 3, 2023, the streaming platform Addatimes unveiled the trailer for their upcoming mystery thriller, Nandini. The series, based on the novel by Sayantani Putatunda, marks the directorial debut of Falak Mir.

The two-minute trailer provides a brief overview of the story of Nandini, which centers around Snigdha (Ritabhari Chakraborty), a pregnant woman who begins experiencing strange occurrences after becoming pregnant, notably the ability to hear her unborn baby's voice.

She receives an unknown call from a girl child who identifies herself as Nandini and expresses her fear of being killed. The central question is whether Snigdha will be able to protect her unborn child.

Nandini also marks Ritabhari Chakraborty's debut in a web series. Earlier this year, she appeared in the family drama Fatafati, alongside Abir Chatterjee.

Suhotra Mukhopadhyay, who portrays Narrator Pradeep, is a valuable addition to the series. He has consistently delivered strong performances, with notable works including "Indu," "Gora," "Dakghor," "Indubala Bhaater Hotel," "Eken Babu," and "Paap Season 2."

Kinjal Nanda plays the character of Snigdha's husband, while Debjani portrays Snigdha's mother-in-law, Kalyani, and Sandip Bhattacharya plays Snigdha's father-in-law, Mr. Roy Chowdhury. Sweta Mou Bhattacharya takes on the role of Alo, Bhaskar portrays Alo's fiancé, Ajay, and Alivia portrays Pakhi, all of whom play significant roles in the series.

The series is produced by Surinder Films, with Subhadeep Sarkar composing the music and Basudeb Chakraborty handling the cinematography of this mystery thriller. The teaser was released on September 26, 2023.
