Qubool Hai 2.0 Story & Performances:

Many of us were a regular-viewer of Zee TV’s one of the most popular shows Qubool Hai. The show comprising 4 seasons. Qubool Hai season 1, season 2, season 3, season 4 comprised a total of 856 episodes and was released on 29th October 2012. The final episode was broadcasted on 23rd January 2016.

After nearly a decade we finally saw that pair, Asad Ahmed Khan(Karan Singh Grover) and Zoya Farooqi(Surbhi Jyoti) reuniting again for ZEE5’s Qubool Hai 2.0.

What happens when your reaction of “Huh” was taken as “Haan(yes)” for a marriage proposal? We have seen a glimpse of it on this web series.

When Salman Ansari(Ankit Raj) proposes Zoya Farooqi, she was quite surprised and her immediate reaction to it was “Huh” but Salman thought she said yes.

So, they fixed the marriage date but Zoya was not happy with this, and she planned to run away. While crossing the road, she came across Asad, as the latter was driving a car and saved her from a near accident situation.

In such a difficult time she had no other way except to take help from him. She had to reach her father General Bhakhtiyar Farouqi’s(Arif Zakaria) home in Islamabad.

The series may give you the feel of an Indo-Pakistan love story. We have previously seen some movies like Indoo Ki Jawani and Lahore Confidential with different stories surrounded by an Indo-Pakistan love story.

Asad is India’s shooting champion and preparing for his next competition in Serbia. Well, there is something more about Asad that we came to know in later episodes.

Mrinal Abhigyan Jha’s writing kept the audience engaged with occasional twists. Director duo Glen Barreto & Ankush Mohla were simply brilliant in the way they took up the challenge of bringing the lead pair again keeping in mind the popularity of the previous show.

The best thing about Qubool Hai 2.0 was the chemistry between Karan Singh Grover & Surbhi Jyoti. Both delivered fantastic performances with their respective characters.

I think this was undoubtedly one of the best performances of Surbhi Jyoti. She was just flawless throughout the series.

We have previously seen Karan Singh Grover in the "Dangerous" web series co-starring Bipasha Basu.

Mandira Bedi also contributed well with her given character of Indian National Security In-charge.

Arif Zakaria also left a good impact with his short appearance as Zoya’s father.

If you were a big fan of the “Qubool Hai” show and were waiting for the lead pair’s return then Qubool Hai 2.0 will leave you delighted.
