Vicky Kaushal is back again after his last movie “Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship” which was released in 2020. This time he will be seen in a biographical drama titled “Sardar Udham”.
The movie’s filming was wrapped in 2019 but due to the pandemic, the release got delayed. Earlier the movie was titled “Sardar Udham Singh” & was scheduled for release in January 2021.
Though the exact date of the release has not been shared yet, it will release in October 2021 on Amazon Prime Video.
The movie is directed by the National Film Award-winning director Shoojit Sircar. His last directorial movie was Gulabo Sitabo. The movie starred Amitabh Bachchan & Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead roles.
The story is based on the real-life of freedom fighter Sardar Udham Singh. Vicky Kaushal will portray the character of Sardar Udham Singh. The National Award-winning actor made his debut in a lead role in the movie “Masaan”, co-starring Richa Chadda & Shweta Tripathi.
Producers Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar will bankroll for “Sardar Udham”. The “Sardar Udham” movie’s music will be composed by Ajay-Atul.
