Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba (2024) Movie: Taapsee Pannu & Vikrant Massey Reunited For Another Thriller

After the resounding success of Vinil Mathew's directed mystery thriller Haseen Dillruba starring Vikrant Massey, Taapsee Pannu, & Harshvardhan Rane in 2021, the makers have finally unveiled the announcement teaser and an official poster featuring Taapsee Pannu of the film's sequel titled Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba on February 29, 2024.

The 53-second announcement teaser introduces us to the lead characters of this film: Taapsee Pannu as Rani, Vikrant Massey as Rishu, Sunny Kaushal as Abhimanyu, & Jimmy Sheirgill as Mrityunjay. Directed by Jayprad Desai, this new thriller promises to deliver the madness of Rani and Rishu in another city with a new thrilling story.

One of the best compositions by Laxmikant Pyarelal, "Ek Haseena Thi Ek Deewana Tha" from the movie "Karz," will most probably be remade and reused in this film, as we hear the song in the background as soon as Taapsee Pannu appears in the teaser.

The film has been written and co-produced by Kanika Dhillon, with Vishal Sinha handling the cinematography. Sachet-Parampara & Anurag Saikia will compose the music, while Anurag Saikia will compose the background score, and Hemal Kothari will edit the film.

Jayprad Desai previously directed films like "Kaun Pravin Tambe?," "Mukhbir: The Story of a Spy," "Hutatma," and "Nagrik," among others. Kanika Dhillon co-wrote Dunki starring Shah Rukh Khan, and has also written the story, screenplay, & dialogues of the upcoming thriller "Do Patti."

The film has been jointly produced by Aanand L Rai, Bhushan Kumar, Himanshu Sharma, and Krishan Kumar under the banners of Colour Yellow Productions and T-Series Productions and will be streaming on Netflix soon. This film marks the maiden collaboration of Jayprad Desai with both Vikrant Massey and Taapsee Pannu. Aditya Srivastava, who recently featured in Bhakshak, will be seen in a crucial role in this film.

Taapsee Pannu was last seen in "Dunki" opposite Shah Rukh Khan and will also be featured in upcoming films like "Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan?" and "Khel Khel Mein." Vikrant Massey was last seen in "12th Fail" and will also be featured in upcoming films like "The Sabarmati Report," "Sector 36," & "Yaar Jigri."

Sunny Kaushal, known for his role in Shiddat, was last seen in "Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga" and will also be featured in the upcoming film "Lettera to Mr. Khanna." Last year, Jimmy Sheirgill appeared in "Operation Mayfair" & "Aazam" and will also be featured in "Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha" and "Mr. I."
