Dukkhito (2024) Review: Parsa Evana impresses with a brilliant performance

Dukkhito (2024) Review: Ziaul Hoque Polash & Parsa Evana’s on-screen chemistry is praiseworthy

Kajal Arefin Ome's directorial romantic drama Dukkhito, starring Ziaul Hoque Polash & Parsa Evana, premiered on Bongo on February 14, 2024. The drama opens with an attention-grabbing scene where Noori (Parsa Evana), dressed in bridal attire, flees on a railway platform while her family members attempt to apprehend her.

She stages a suicide attempt in front of her family to dissuade them from marrying her off and instead allow her to continue her studies. They enlist a teacher (Parsa Evana) to support her educational pursuits. Will Noori transform herself under the guidance of her teacher?

Parsa Evana delivers a stellar performance as Noori, portraying innocence, chattiness, and engaging family interactions with finesse. Ziaul Hoque Polash also gives a convincing performance. The chemistry between Ziaul Hoque Polash & Parsa Evana adds depth to the romantic drama Dukkhito. Kajal Arefin Ome's storytelling once again impresses us.

Shahiduzzaman Selim, Shampa Reza, Rosey Siddique, & Saia Tanjin contribute significantly with their respective characters. Jahid Nirob’s music composition is commendable, while Khair Khandakar’s cinematography is decent. Kajal Arefin Ome recently delivered Osomoy, an engaging crime thriller on Bongo.
