This film also marks the second collaboration between Kriti Sanon and Kajol, who reunite after more than 8 years since their first collaboration in "Dilwale" alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Varun Dhawan in 2015.
The 1 minute 14 seconds announcement teaser opens with a dialogue from Kajol, who portrays a cop for the first time in her career. She states, "They get training to understand the fact that 'Truth and evidence decide whether someone is guilty or not.'" She also poses the question, "What do we do when the truth and the evidence collide?" To which Kriti Sanon's character replies, "We should listen to what our heart says at that time, but the problem is the heart often betrays us."
The story, screenplay, and dialogues of "Do Patti" have been penned by Kanika Dhillon, and the film is set to premiere on Netflix soon.
Kriti Sanon was last seen in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, and she will also be featured in Crew alongside Tabu and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Meanwhile, Kajol's last appearance was in "Lust Stories 2" last year, and she will also be featured in "Sarzameen."
