Last year, we witnessed a significant clash at the box office during the Durga Puja, and it seems we are gearing up for an even bigger clash this year.
On February 27, 2024, Windows Production unveiled the official poster for their upcoming film, Bohurupi. Directed by Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee, this mystery thriller stars Abir Chatterjee, Ritabhari Chakraborty, Koushani Mukherjee, and Shiboprosad Mukherjee in lead roles. The poster showcases a colorful eye alongside the names of the leading cast and directors.
They quoted:

হিচকি, নাকে অম্বল

ফেলে চোখের জল

Bohurupi is based on true events and is set for release in theaters during the Durga Puja festivities this year, competing with Dev starring Tekka, and Mithun Chakraborty starring Shastri.
This film marks the second collaboration between Abir Chatterjee and the directorial duo Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee, following last year's blockbuster, Raktabeej.
Bohurupi reunites Abir Chatterjee and Ritabhari Chakraborty after their previous work in Fatafati, while also marking the first on-screen pairing of Koushani Mukherjee and Abir Chatterjee.
Abir Chatterjee is currently engrossed in shooting for his upcoming film, Babli directed by Raj Chakraborty and co-starring Subhashree Ganguly. Meanwhile, Koushani Mukherjee is set to feature in upcoming films such as Hungama dot com and Dark World. Ritabhari Chakraborty was last seen in the Nandini web series.
