Two versatile actors, Tota Roychowdhury and Paran Bandopadhyay, have joined the cast of one of the most anticipated films of 2024, Tekka, directed by Srijit Mukherji. The upcoming thriller stars Dev as the male lead, with Rukmini Maitra and Swastika Mukherjee playing the female leads. This film marks Dev's second collaboration with Srijit Mukherji after their work together on Zulfiqar.
Tota Roychowdhury and Dev have previously shared the screen in films such as Paran Jai Jolia Re, Paglu, and Bolo Na Tumi Aamar. Similarly, Paran Bandopadhyay has collaborated with Dev in movies like Tonic and Pradhan.
Tota Roychowdhury, who recently appeared in the Picasso web series, had previously worked with director Srijit Mukherji in Feluda Pherot and Feludar Goyendagiri.
Paran Bandopadhyay, who appeared in crucial roles in Abar Proloy by Raj Chakraborty and Pradhan by Avijit Sen, marks his maiden collaboration with Srijit Mukherji in the upcoming film Tekka. The first-look poster of this film was unveiled on 25th December 2023.
