Sajini Shinde Ka Viral Video (2023) Hindi Movie Review:

The story of Sajini Shinde Ka Viral Video revolves around the life of Sajini Suryakant Shinde (Radhika Madan). Sajini is a physics teacher hailing from a conservative family in Pune. She embarks on a vacation to Singapore with her friends, including Shraddha Oswal (Shruti Vyas), who works as a student counselor, and Chhavi Joshi (Rashmi Agdekar).

Things take a drastic turn when a video of Sajini dancing on her birthday night at a bar goes viral. The school authorities, led by Principal Kalyani (Bhagyashree), take the harsh step of firing Sajini, as well as her friends Shraddha and Chhavi. Even her family and fiancé Siddhant Kadam (Soham Majumdar) react unfavorably to the video's virality. Sajini's response is to disappear, leaving behind a social media post that suggests a possible suicide.

The case is assigned to Inspector Bela Barot (Nimrat Kaur), and her team, including Inspector Ram Pawar (Chinmay Mandlekar). Together, they commence their investigation to uncover the mystery behind Sajini's disappearance. The burning question remains: What happened to Sajini, and can Bela Barot and her team resolve the mystery surrounding her vanishing?

Three aspects of the film deserve special mention. First, the film effectively conveys the director's intended message about the impact of social media on our lives. It highlights how individuals, especially women, are scrutinized for the slightest actions, often without considering the emotional toll of their comments. The film also portrays how public perception can change overnight, a reflection of society's struggle to accept that even a teacher is entitled to a personal life and space.

The second commendable aspect is the storytelling, skillfully executed by Mikhil Musale. Musale, known for winning a National Film Award for his debut Gujarati film, 'Wrong Side Raju,' made his Bollywood directorial debut in 2019 with Made in China.

Sajini Shinde Ka Viral Video is his third directorial film and his 2nd in Bollywood. Musale adeptly weaves the mystery angle into the narrative while developing the relationships between Sajini and her family, including her father Suryakant Shinde (Subodh Bhave), a theater actor, her mother Urmila (Sneha Raikar), her brother Akash (Ashutosh Gaikwad), and her fiancé.

Nimrat Kaur's performance as Inspector Bela Barot stands out. While Radhika Madan, known for Shiddat, delivered a compelling performance, she may have been underutilized in the film. Other notable performances include Bhagyashree as Principal Kalyani, Soham Majumdar as Siddhant, and Chinmay Mandlekar as Inspector Ram Pawar, all providing decent support to the overall narrative.
