Tiger Shroff's Ganapath: A Hero is Born: New Poster Unveiled
On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, a new poster for Tiger Shroff's upcoming film, "Ganapath Part 1," has been unveiled, along with the confirmation of its release date. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film was initially scheduled for release on December 23, 2022, but it has been postponed.
Ganapath Part 1, titled Ganapath: A Hero is Born, is produced by Good Co and Pooja Entertainment. The film is now set to hit screens on October 20, 2023, coinciding with the festival of Dussehra. It will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. In the striking poster, Tiger Shroff is depicted wrapping his hand with a flaming bandage. In the movie, Tiger Shroff will portray the titular character, while Kriti Sanon will play the role of Jassi, the female lead.
This action thriller also features the legendary Amitabh Bachchan in a significant role, with Eli AvrRam portraying the character of Rosie. Rashin Rahman will have a crucial role in the film. The music for the movie will be composed by Ravi Basrur, while Sudhakar Reddy and Yakkanti will handle the cinematography. A. Sreekar Prasad will oversee the editing.
Director Vikas Bahl's previous film, "Goodbye," was a box office disappointment, earning only Rs 10 crores. His last successful directorial venture was "Super 30," starring Hrithik Roshan, which was released in 2019 and grossed over Rs 200 crores. He made his debut in the OTT space in 2021 with "Sunflower Season 1."
"Ganapath Part 1" marks Tiger Shroff's 10th film, and of his previous nine movies, only "Baaghi 2," "War," and "Baaghi 3" crossed the Rs 100 crores mark at the box office. Hopefully, this Dussehra will add another successful entry to his 100 crores club. Tiger Shroff is also set to feature in upcoming films, including "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan," "Rambo," and "Baaghi 4."
For Kriti Sanon, "Ganapath Part 1" is her third project in 2023, following "Shehzada" and "Adipurush." Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon will be sharing screen space for the second time after their maiden collaboration in "Heropanti."
