The action thriller Valimai was earlier scheduled for a release on 12th November 2020 on the occasion of Diwali but due to the pandemic, the makers postponed it. It has been rescheduled to release in theatres on 14th January 2022 clashing with Vijay’s movie Beast.

Valimai (2021) Glimpse Review & Records:

The Glimpses of Valimai was released on 23rd September 2021 and it looks like something really big is coming on Pongal 2022. The stunts performed by the bike riders and Ajith’s entry in the teaser were a treat for the fans. The glimpse also became the most liked glimpse in India in 24 hours overtaking Bheemla Nayak.

As per the reports, it took around 18 days to shoot for one stunt sequence of the movie. Many people are also telling it might be the Indian version of the blockbuster movie Fast and Furious.

Ajith Kumar, the superstar from Tamil cinema is back again with his upcoming movie titled Valimai. The movie is directed by his previous movie Nerkonda Paarvai director H. Vinoth.

Kartikeya Gummakonda who was also part of the movie Gang Leader starring Nani was roped in to play the main antagonist of Valimai.

Huma Qureshi, who had earlier made her debut in Tamil cinema with the movie “Kaala” starring Rajinikanth, is also playing a crucial role in this movie. She was also part of Akshay Kumar’s recently released movie Bell Bottom.

H. Vinoth made his directorial debut with the movie Sathuranga Vettai. Valimai is his 4th directorial movie and the second with Ajith Kumar. They previously collaborated for Nerkonda Paarvai which was the remake of the Bollywood movie Pink starring Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Kriti Kulhari, and Andrea Tariang.

Yuvan Shankar Raja who was also the music director of Vishal’s movie Chakra will compose the songs of Valimai. The movie will be bankrolled by Boney Kapoor’s BayView Projects LLP and Zee Studios.
