On 6th June 2024, the OTT platform Bongo unveiled the official trailer of Rajkumar, starring Superstar Shakib Khan and directed by Himel Ashraf. Courtney Coffey is the female lead in this film. Arosh Khan, Tariq Anam Khan, and Mahiya Mahi will be seen in supporting roles. The film was released in theatres on Eid Ul Fitr this year and will premiere on Bongo on 13th June 2024.
The 2 minutes and 15 seconds trailer shows the protagonist Rajkumar (Shakib Khan) wanting to go to America but facing various challenges. His father (Tariq Anam Khan) threatens to disown him. After arriving in America, he falls in love with Julie (Courtney Coffey). Will Julie accept Rajkumar’s love?
This is the second collaboration between director Himel Ashraf and Superstar Shakib Khan. Their maiden collaboration, Priyotoma, was a blockbuster, so there were high expectations for Rajkumar. However, the film did not perform well at the box office. Shakib Khan will be seen in the upcoming films Toofan and Dorod.
