Toofan (2024) Bengali Movie: Raihan Rafi's 6th directorial venture

The talented Bangladeshi director, Raihan Rafi, known for films like Surongo, Damal, Dahan, Poran & Poramon 2, is set to collaborate with Superstar Shakib Khan for their upcoming Bengali film Toofan.

The announcement took place on December 11, 2023, at a press conference in Dhaka. The film will be jointly produced by SVF Entertainment, Alpha-I Studios, and the OTT platform Chorki.

This is exciting news for moviegoers, as three renowned production houses are joining forces to deliver an exceptional cinematic experience. The first look poster features Shakib Khan with guns in both hands.

Toofan marks Raihan Rafi's 6th directorial venture and the maiden collaboration between him and superstar Shakib Khan. The film is scheduled for release on Eid Ul Adha in 2024. Shakib Khan's last appearance was in Himel Ashraf's romantic drama Priyotoma, which was a box-office blockbuster.

The remaining cast and the exact release date are yet to be officially announced. Additionally, SVF Entertainment, Alpha-I Studios, and OTT platform Chorki will collaborate on Chanchal Chowdhury’s upcoming film, "Domm" (Till the Last Breath), directed by Redoan Rony.
