Amar Boss (2024) Bengali Movie: Maiden Collaboration Between Nandita Roy-Shiboprosad Mukherjee & Rakhi Gulzar

One of the most talented director duos of Tollywood, Nandita Roy-Shiboprosad Mukherjee's upcoming film Amar Boss, will feature two-time National Film Awards winner Rakhi Gulzar.

On December 1, 2023, director Shiboprosad Mukherjee confirmed the news by sharing a picture of himself posing with the legendary Rakhi Gulzar through his social media handle. Srabanti Chatterjee will play a crucial role in this film produced by Windows Production. The shooting of this film is set to commence in January 2024. The rest of the cast and release date are yet to be officially announced.

Amar Boss marks the first collaboration between Rakhi Gulzar and the director duo Nandita Roy-Shiboprosad Mukherjee and the comeback of the legendary actress 5 years after appearing in Goutam Haldar's Nirbaan in 2019.

Nandita Roy-Shiboprosad Mukherjee's last release, Raktabeej, completed 50 days on December 7, 2023. Srabanti Chatterjee will also be featured in Subhrajit Mitra’s upcoming film Devi Chowdhurani: Bandit Queen of Bengal.
