Director Rohit Shetty's "Singham" hit theaters on July 22, 2011, and amassed a staggering collection of over Rs 150 crores. The film revolutionized the action thriller genre in Bollywood, featuring heart-pounding action sequences and memorable punchlines. It drew inspiration from Director Hari Gopalakrishnan's "Singam," starring Suriya.
The phenomenal success of "Singham" prompted Rohit Shetty to produce a sequel titled "Singham Returns," which premiered on August 15, 2014. Surpassing the original film's earnings, it raked in an astounding sum of over Rs 200 crores.
On September 16, 2023, Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn delighted fans by sharing a sneak peek of the Mahurat ceremony for his upcoming action thriller, "Singham Again" (Singham 3). The film is set to hit theaters on August 15, 2024, precisely a decade after the release of the second installment in the franchise.
"Singham Again" is a crossover featuring characters from the Singham, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi franchises, with Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar reprising their roles from "Simmba" and "Sooryavanshi," respectively. Kareena Kapoor Khan & Deepika Padukone will portray crucial roles in this film. Akshay Kumar failed to attend the Mahurat event as he was not in the country at that time.
Jackie Shroff will return as Omar Hafeez from "Sooryavanshi." The prospect of witnessing Inspector Bajirao Singham, DCP Veer Surya Sooryavanshi, and Inspector Sangram Simmba Bhalerao collaborating in high-octane action sequences while delivering powerful one-liners promises an exhilarating Independence Day in 2024.

Arjun Kapoor, known for his acclaimed performances in "Ek Villain Returns" and "Kuttey," will take on the role of the antagonist in "Singham 3." This marks a significant addition to the franchise, following the impressive portrayals of antagonists by Prakash Raj as Jaikant Shikre in the first installment and Amole Gupte as Satyaraj Chander in the second installment.
Rohit Shetty will make his directorial debut on OTT:
Rohit Shetty is set to make his debut in the OTT space with the upcoming web series "Indian Police Force," featuring Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty, and Vivek Oberoi. The series will be available for streaming on Prime Video.
