This uproarious comedy is set to hit theaters on October 27, 2023. The film is a collaborative production effort between Sony Pictures International, Umesh Shukla, Ashish Wagh's Merry Go Round Studios, and is penned by Jitendra Parmar, known for his contributions to films such as "Race," "Housefull 3," "Naqaab," and "36 China Town."

"Aankh Micholi" weaves a delightful narrative around the backdrop of Indian weddings, entwining the lives of two distinctly mismatched families. The ensemble cast boasts some prominent names, with Sharman Joshi, Mrunal Thakur, Abhimanyu Dassani, Paresh Rawal, and Abhishek Banerjee headlining the film. Additionally, Divya Dutta, Darshan Jariwala, Vijay Raaz, and Grusha Kapoor are set to deliver stellar performances in supporting roles.

Adding to the film's charm, the renowned music composer duo Sachin-Jigar, known for their contributions to films like "Zara Hatke Zara Bachke," "Shakuntala Devi," "Farzi," "Bhediya," "Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui," "Shiddat," "Stree," "Gold," "Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran," "Badlapur," "Ramaiya Vastavaiya," and more, will be crafting the musical score for "Aankh Micholi."

In 2023, Sharman Joshi graced the screen with his presence in projects such as Web Series Kafas, "Congratulations," and "Music School." Meanwhile, Mrunal Thakur received acclaim for her performance in "Sita Ramam" last year, and this year, she has already featured in projects like "Selfiee," "Gumraah," "Lust Stories 2," and "Made in Heaven 2."

The inclusion of veteran actor Paresh Rawal, known for his impeccable comic timing, adds an extra layer of intrigue to this comedy drama. This year alone, he has showcased his talent in "Shehzada" and "Dream Girl 2," with upcoming films like the "Soorarai Pottru" remake, "The Storyteller," and "Hera Pheri 3" in the pipeline.

The film's supporting cast includes Divya Dutta, Abhishek Banerjee, Darshan Jariwala, Abhimanyu Dassani, Vijay Raaz, and Grusha Kapoor, all of whom promise to contribute significantly to the film's charm.

Umesh Shukla's previous venture, "102 Not Out," featuring two legends of Indian cinema, Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor, garnered over Rs 100 crores at the box office. With "Aankh Micholi," Shukla hopes to replicate that success and create yet another memorable cinematic experience for the audience.
