Padatik (2023) Bengali Movie:
Earlier On 14th May 2022, director Srijit Mukherji announced Padatik as a web series based on the legendary filmmaker Mrinal Sen. On 30th December 2022 which is the fourth death anniversary of Mrinal Sen, the X=Prem director announced Padatik as a feature film.
He also revealed that Chanchal Chowdhury will portray the character of Mrinal Sen. One can easily find some facial similarities between them and there is no doubt that Chanchal Chowdhury is a powerhouse of acting.
We have already seen some of his top-notch performances in Karagar Part 1, Taqdeer, Hawa, & Karagar Part 2. From critics to audiences, almost everyone hailed his performances recently.
Upcoming directorial movies and web series of Srijit Mukherji are Oti Uttam, Durgo Rahashya, Lawho Gouranger Naam Re, & Feludar Goyendagiri Season 2. Chanchal Chowdhury will be featured in director Shyam Benegal’s upcoming movie Mujib: The Making of a Nation.
Monami Ghosh as Gita Sen in Padatik:
The actress Monami Ghosh will be playing the character of Mrinal Sen's wife Gita Sen in Padatik and this is her first collaboration with director Srijit Mukherji.
