Projapoti (2022) Bengali Movie: Dev and Mithun Chakraborty will share the screen after 7 years
The release date of the Projapoti movie was confirmed by Dev earlier on 1st January 2022 & we did not receive any update about changing the date so hopefully, it will be released in cinemas on 23rd December 2022.
Mithun Chakraborty and Mamata Shankar both made their debut in 1976 with the movie Mrigayaa directed by Mrinal Sen.
After 46 years they are going to feature in director Avijit Sen’s upcoming movie Projapoti. Dev is the male lead in Projapoti & Mithun Chakraborty will be playing the character of his father.
Mamata Shankar did not share much detail about her character in this movie. But both Mithun Chakraborty and Mamata Shankar are excited to be able to work together again after Mrigayaa.
Dev is also excited to share the screen again with Mithun Chakraborty. They had worked together earlier in director Rabi Kinagi’s movie Herogiri, co-starring Koel Mallick, Sayantika Banerjee, & Kharaj Mukherjee.
Dev’s last 3 movies Golondaaj, Tonic, & Kishmish got huge successes at the box office and the audiences are eagerly waiting to see him in new roles in his upcoming movies Kacher Manush, & Raghu Dakat.
