Mandaar (2021) Web Series Trailer Review:
The much-anticipated trailer of the upcoming web series Mandaar was released on 08th November 2021. The story of Mandaar is based on William Shakespeare's Macbeth. It is the first Hoichoi world classics to be streaming on this platform from 19th November 2021.
Debasish Mondal &Sohini Sarkar are playing the lead male and female characters in this series. Mandaar web series marks the debut of Debasish Mondal in a leading role as well as the directorial debut of Anirban Bhattacharya.
Sohini Sarkar is playing an interesting and challenging character that she has not done yet in her career. Her expressions & intense look were the most eye-catching parts in this fast-paced 166-second trailer. Mandaar teaser & trailer also hinted to us that it is the story of passion painted in blood, where men are fooled by power.
We have already witnessed some of her best performances in movies and web series like Rajkahini, Durga Sohay, Cinemawala, Vinci Da, Biday Byomkesh, Byomkesh Gotro, Har Har Byomkesh, Break Up Story, etc. Her only movie “Ei Ami Renu” starring Soham Chakraborty, and Gaurav Chakrabarty, was released this year on 9 April 2021.
Anirban Bhattacharya will be seen playing the character of a cop. This year he has already been featured in projects like Mukhosh, Golondaaj, Rabindranath Ekhane Kokhono Khete Asenni.
Debesh Roy Choudhury, Sankar Debnath, and Lokenath Dey will be also playing crucial roles in the Mandaar series we might see some new faces in this series.
Subhadeep Guha will provide the background score in this series; he did a good job in Byomkesh Season 7 too.
