On 2nd June 2024, Hoichoi unveiled the official trailer of their upcoming mystery thriller Golam Mamun, starring Ziaul Faruque Apurba in the titular role.
Sabila Nur, Imtiaz Barshon, Rashed Mamun Apu, Sharlin Farzana, and Sharif Siraj will be seen in supporting roles in this series, which will premiere on 13th June 2024 on Hoichoi.
The character Golam Mamun was derived from Taneem Rahman Angshu's directorial thriller "Buker Moddhye Agun." The 2 and a half-minute trailer provides a brief overview of the plot, which revolves around two murders with Golam Mamun as the prime suspect. Is Golam Mamun innocent, or is he the killer of these two people?
Ziaul Faruque Apurba in the titular role looks promising in this trailer. Khayam Sanu Sandhi's background score is another highlight. The dialogue, "nobody is real, everyone has a mask," will catch your attention too. From the trailer, it seems there is a slight plot similarity with "Mohanagar 2."
Ayan Chakraborti has written the story of "Kaalpurush," while Shihab Shaheen and Mezbah Uddin Sumon have written the screenplay and dialogues. Kamrul Islam Shuvo is responsible for the cinematography, Leon Rozario for the editing, and Deepak Das for the action choreography.
Shihab Shaheen is known for directing praiseworthy projects like "Chuye Dile Mon" and "Myself Allen Swapan." Imtiaz Barshon recently appeared in the Kaalpurush web series. Sabila Nur was last seen in "Mujib: The Making of A Nation."
