Tahader Katha (2024) Trailer: Subrata Ghosh Directorial Upcoming Film Arrives on 10th May

On 16th April 2024, Epictale Entertainment unveiled the official trailer of their upcoming film Tahader Katha. Directed by Subrata Ghosh, the film stars Rishav Basu, Trisha Das, Rajnandini Paul, and Anindya Sengupta in the lead roles, with Biswanath Basu, Deepak Halder, Amit Saha, Bhadra Basu, Krishnendu Dewanji, Arindol Bagchi, Sourav Das, and Srabanti Bhattacharya in supporting roles.

The 2-and-a-half-minute trailer shows various scenes from the film but doesn't reveal much about the plot. The trailer begins with a filmmaker who wants to make a documentary on unknown writers and learns about Mr. Srinath (Krishnendu Dewanji), who wrote four novels in the late 1990s.

Rafiqul (Rishav Basu) and Priyanka (Trisha Das) wish they were Romeo and Juliet; then their love story would have been remembered by people for a long time. Anal (Anindya Sengupta) enjoys a high-speed bike ride with his girlfriend (Rajnandini Paul). She is an actress who believes she has a lot to offer the industry. She doesn't like the high-speed bike chase and asks Anal to slow down. In other scenes, Rishav Basu, Trisha Das, and Anindya Sengupta are seen dead. Biswanath Basu, Deepak Halder, and Amit Saha also appear in the trailer.

The story is written by Somak Bhattacharya and Bodhisatya Majumder, with Bodhisatya Majumder and Santanu Mukherjee handling the screenplay and dialogues. Aalok Maiti is responsible for the cinematography, Malay Laha for the editing, and Saptak Sanai Das for the music composition and background score of Tahader Katha.

The film is produced by Epic Tale Entertainment and is set to release in theatres on 10th May 2024, clashing with "Dabaru" and "Nayan Rahasya". The casting of this film looks promising, and the music composition by Saptak Sanai Das is expected to be another highlight. Anindya Sengupta delivered a top-notch performance recently in Srijit Mukherji’s Oti Uttam. Rajnandini Paul was last seen in Sampurna 2, and Rishav Basu was last seen in Kumudini Bhavan.
