With back-to-back announcements from the industry on the auspicious occasion of Poila Boisakh, Surinder Films also joins the celebration, confirming the release date of their upcoming film, Ajogya. Directed by Kaushik Ganguly, the romantic drama film will hit theaters on 7th June 2024, clashing with Jeet's upcoming film Boomerang.
The film marks the 50th collaboration between two versatile actors, Prosenjit Chatterjee and Rituparna Sengupta, who are the male and female leads of this film. The film also marks the 6th collaboration between Kaushik Ganguly and Prosenjit Chatterjee, and the 2nd collaboration between Rituparna Sengupta and Kaushik Ganguly.
The makers also released a new poster where we can see a thumb with an ink stain on it, and Prosenjit and Rituparna’s faces are dimly visible in the background. There is high anticipation for this film, and it will be interesting to see whether the trio Kaushik Ganguly-Prosenjit Chatterjee-Rituparna Sengupta can surpass the records of Drishtikone or not.
Kaushik Ganguly recently featured in Mirza as an actor and delivered a stunning performance. Prosenjit Chatterjee will be featured in upcoming films like Devi Chowdhurani, Daktar Kaku, & Sajhghor. Rituparna Sengupta will be featured in upcoming films like Sporsho & Chhuti.
