On March 16, 2024, ZEE Music Bangla unveiled the official teaser for the upcoming family drama, Eta Amader Golpo. Directed by debutant Manasi Sinha, the film stars Saswata Chatterjee and Aparajita Adhya in the lead roles, with Sohag Sen, Kharaj Mukherjee, Koneenica Banerjee, Debdut Ghosh, Tarin Jahan, Arya Dasgupta, Amit Kanti Ghosh, and Puja Karmakar in supporting roles.
The 1 minute 10 seconds teaser provides a glimpse into the story, focusing on Saswata Chatterjee's character, who falls in love with a widow portrayed by Aparajita Adhya at a laughing club. He endeavors to impress her through various means and eventually proposes to her. The film explores the obstacles they encounter and whether they can overcome them.
This is the first time Saswata Chatterjee and Aparajita Adhya have been paired opposite each other. Director Manasi Sinha penned the story, while Debapratim Dasgupta wrote the script. Pranjal Das composed the music, and Amlan Saha handled the cinematography. Anirban Maity edited the film, produced by Subhash Bera and Suvankar Mitra under the banner Dhagaa Production. The official poster was unveiled on February 15, 2024.
Aparajita Adhya was previously seen in Dhrubo Banerjee’s Bogla Mama Jug Jug Jiyo, while Saswata Chatterjee will also appear in Jomaloy Jibonto Bhanu. Sohag Sen's latest appearance was in Love Marriage.
