Yodha (2024) Teaser: Sidharth Malhotra & actions are impressive

On February 19, 2024, Dharma. Productions unveiled the official teaser of their upcoming action thriller, Yodha. The film marks the directorial debut of Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha and features Sidharth Malhotra, Raashii Khanna, and Disha Patani in the lead roles. The release of the film had been postponed twice before, but it is now scheduled to hit theaters on March 15, 2024.

The one-minute teaser of Yodha provides a glimpse into the plot, which centers around the hijacking of an Air India flight, with terrorists terrorizing the passengers onboard. Sidharth Malhotra portrays a commando tasked with leading the rescue operation. Will he succeed in saving the innocent lives threatened by the terrorists?

The teaser captivates audiences with its action sequences, complemented by Sidharth Malhotra's commanding presence, intense demeanor, and the gripping background score. Disha Patani appears as an air hostess, while Raashii Khanna portrays a character working in the intelligence department.

While the plot of Yodha may not be entirely unique, given the prevalence of similar storylines in films across languages, audiences are eager to see how directors Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha leverage Sidharth Malhotra's talents in this production.

The action thriller Yodha is a collaborative effort by Amazon MGM Studios, Dharma Productions, and Mentor Disciple Entertainment. Sagar Ambre is credited with the story, with Jishnu Bhattacharjee handling cinematography and Shivkumar V. Panicker editing the film. The music is composed by Vishal Mishra, Tanishk Bagchi, B Praak, Jaani, and Aditya Dev, with John Stewart Eduri contributing the background score.

Sidharth Malhotra was last seen in Rohit Shetty's OTT debut, Indian Police Force. Raashii Khanna's recent appearances include "Sardar" opposite Karthi, and she is also set to feature in The Sabarmati Report, Aranmanai 4, and Methavi. Disha Patani's latest film was Ek Villain Returns in 2022, and she is set to appear in Kalki 2898 AD, Kanguva, and Welcome to the Jungle.
