On February 16th, 2024, Tips Films unveiled the motion poster for their upcoming romantic comedy, Ishq Vishk Rebound. This film marks the Bollywood directorial debut of Nipun Avinash Dharmadhikari and features Rohit Saraf, Pashmina Roshan, Jibraan Khan, and Naila Grewal in lead roles. Notably, "Ishq Vishk Rebound" serves as the acting debut for Pashmina Roshan and Jibraan Khan in lead roles.

Ramesh Taurani serves as the producer, with Jaya Taurani as the co-producer under the banner of Tips Films Limited. This project signifies the second collaboration between Rohit Saraf and director Nipun Avinash Dharmadhikari after their work on "Mismatched". Prior to this, Nipun Avinash Dharmadhikari directed three Marathi films: "Baapjanma", "Dhappa", and "Me Vasantrao", in addition to co-directing the show "Mismatched" alongside director Akarsh Khurana.

Ishq Vishk Rebound serves as the sequel to director Ken Ghosh’s romantic comedy "Ishq Vishk", which starred Shahid Kapoor, Amrita Rao, Vishal Malhotra, and Shenaz Treasurywala. The original film marked Shahid Kapoor’s debut in a lead role in Bollywood and was released in 2003.

Rohit Saraf's last appearance was in Vikram Vedha in 2022. Jibraan Khan gained recognition as a child artist in films such as "Rishtey", "Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham", "Bade Dilwala", and "Kyon Kii…Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta". Naila Grewal previously appeared in brief roles in films like "Thappad" and "Tamasha".
