Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (2024) Movie: Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha's 5th Collaboration
On February 1, 2024, director Ali Abbas Zafar confirmed the wrap-up of his upcoming action thriller, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in the lead roles. The director shared a picture of the cast and crew of the film, who indulged in a mud bath yesterday, and Akshay Kumar shared that image on his Instagram handle.
The high-octane action thriller, initially set for release on December 22, 2023, has been rescheduled to hit theaters nationwide on April 10, 2024, during the grand occasion of Eid.
Prithviraj Sukumaran of Salaar Part 1 Ceasefire fame portrays Kabir, the villain in this action-packed thriller. Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar, and Alaya Furniturewala are the female leads of the film, produced by Pooja Entertainment and AAZ Films.
This marks the 5th collaboration between Sonakshi Sinha and Akshay Kumar, who have previously worked together in "Rowdy Rathore," "Once Upon A Time in Mumbai Dobaara," "Holiday: A Soldier is Never Off Duty," and "Mission Mangal." Sinha was last seen in Double XL and is set to appear in "Kakuda," "Nikita Roy and The Book of Darkness," and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar."
This is Ali Abbas Zafar's 8th directorial venture and his first collaboration with Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Sonakshi Sinha, and Manushi Chhillar. Additionally, it marks the first on-screen pairing of Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. The official teaser of this film was unveiled on 24th January 2024.
