On January 13, 2024, actor Ankush Hazra officially confirmed that the teaser for his upcoming action thriller Mirza, will be unveiled on February 14, 2024, at 12 am. The film is produced by Ankush Hazra Motion Pictures and directed by the debutant director duo Summet-Saahil.
This project marks the 26th film in Ankush Hazra’s career, where he takes on the titular role. Oindrila Sen stars as the female lead in the film. The 2nd schedule of shooting of this film started on 11th January 2024.
The story and dialogues have been penned by Arnab Bhaumik, while the music will be composed by Aneek Dhar and Ishan Mitra. Earlier reports suggested that Dibyendu Bhattacharya had been selected to play the antagonist role.
The announcement teaser was shared on September 8, 2022, and the film's release date was officially confirmed on December 12, 2023. Ankush Hazra was last seen in Kurban, while Oindrila Sen's latest appearance was in Love Marriage.
