On November 28, 2023, Addatimes, the OTT platform, unveiled the trailer for Kothamrito. The family drama stars Kaushik Ganguly & Aparajita Adhya in the lead roles.
The nearly 2-minute trailer highlights the married life of two couples: Sanatan (Kaushik Ganguly) and Sulekha (Aparajita Adhya), a happily married couple despite Sanatan being unable to speak, and Babun (Biswanath Basu) & Ananya (Adetee Chatterjee), who are facing numerous issues in their married life. The story unfolds the struggles of these two couples and how they find happiness by overcoming all obstacles.
Kothamrito is directed by Jit Chakraborty, who made his directorial debut with Sheser Golpo starring Soumitra Chatterjee, Kharaj Mukherjee, & Mamata Shankar in 2019. Jit Dutta has written the story, script, and dialogues for Kothamrito, presented by Pritam Jalan.
Modhura Palit is the Director of Photography, and Sanglap Bhowmik has edited the film. The music was composed by Prosen er Dolbol, Ranajoy Bhattacharjee, and Amit-Ishaan, while the Amit-Ishan duo also scored the background music.
