The 2-minute 26 26-second trailer of the medical thriller Doctor Bakshi looks like a mix of sci-fi and medical thriller genres and is gripping. The movie is directed by Saptaswa Basu who earlier directed the medical thriller Pratidwandi which was released in 2021. Saswata Chatterjee played the character of Doctor Bakshi in that movie, co-starring Rudranil Ghosh, Sourav Das, & Sayoni Ghosh.
Doctor Bakshi features Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Subhashree Ganguly, and Bonny in the lead roles. The titular character played by Parambrata Chattopadhyay here believes in punishing people involved in medical scams in his own way. Parambrata delivers the dialogue “We can destroy what we have written, but we cannot unwrite it” which raises excitement for this movie.
Subhashree Ganguly is playing the character of Mrinalini Sen who is a writer and Bonny is playing the character of Aditya who is a criminal. This is the third time in 2022 we are seeing Subhashree Ganguly and Parambrata Chattopadhyay together after Habji Gabji and Boudi Canteen. She will also feature in the upcoming Bengali movie Megh Peon & the web series Indubala Bhater Hotel.
