Parambrata Chattopadhyay Will Play the Character of Doctor Bakshi:
Parambrata Chattopadhyay to star in director Saptaswa Basu’s upcoming medical thriller titled “Doctor Bakshi”. The first look of the movie was released on 6th October 2021.
The film co-starring Bonny Sengupta, Subhashree Ganguly, Soumyajit Majumdar, Maahi Kar marks the second collaboration of the trio Saptaswa Basu, Parambrata Chatterjee, Bonny Sengupta. They have already worked together in Basu’s upcoming movie “Jatugriha”, co-starring Paayel Sarkar and Piyali Chatterjee. The teaser of “Jotugriho” was released on 8th September 2021.
The character “Doctor Bakshi” was inspired by Basu’s previous directorial movie “Pratidwandi” starring Saswata Chatterjee, Rudranil Ghosh, Sayaani Ghosh, Sourav Das where Saswata Chatterjee played the character of Doctor Bakshi. His unavailability for this movie has led the makers to go with Parambrata Chattopadhyay for the titular role. The crime thriller “Doctor Bakshi” will be bankrolled by Saptarshi Sen and Shubhadeep Bhaumik.

The makers of "Doctor Bakshi" released the first look of the actress, Subhashree Ganguly, on 3rd November 2021, which marks her 31st birthday. She was last seen in director Raj Chakroborty's movie "Parineeta" which was released in 2019.
