The Bengal Scam: Bima Kando Review: Story

The series starts with insurance agent Somudro (Kinjal Nanda) whose manager is frustrated with his performance and so, transferred him to the insurance claim department where he needs to work with Mohona (Sonamoni Saha).

They were sent to Chilpota village to investigate the client Ramkrishna Murmu’s death. After arriving there they contacted a few local people as well as the police to collect information about the client’s death. Through various sources, they came to know about the mastermind Bidyut (Rajatava Dutta) behind these insurance scams. Will they be will able to expose Vidyut and his scams?

The Bengal Scam: Bima Kando Review: Performances & Analysis

I mentioned during The Bengal Scam: Bima Kando Trailer Review that Rajatava Dutta’s character was the main attraction of the series.

The last few series on Hoichoi Including Bodhon, & Hello! Remember Me? Have been highly disappointing and The Bengal Scam: Bima Kando is no exception. The concept of the series was good but failed due to poor writing & execution.

Barring Rajatava Dutta’s remarkable performance there is nothing good about this crime thriller. Except the scenes where Rajatava Dutta was present the story looked good only during Rajatava Dutta’s childhood scenes. The rest of the scenes will give you a feel of watching a daily soap.

Director Abhirup Ghosh failed tremendously in executing a good concept unlike his earlier projects Rahasya Romancho Season 3, Byadh, & Brombhodoityo.

Kinjal Nanda, Sonamoni Saha, & John Bhattacharya delivered forgetful performances. Editing by Sumit Chowdhury & Music & Background Score by Aamlaann Chakrabarty & Bob SN also failed to impress.

Final Words:

Abhirup Ghosh directorial crime thriller The Bengal Scam: Bima Kando on Hoichoi lacks sufficient elements to give you a thrilling experience.
