After Bell Bottom movie’s massive response, Akshay Kumar presently celebrating the success of the Sooryavanshi movie which has crossed the 100 crore mark a few days ago. Sooryavanshi also marked director Rohit Shetty’s ninth 100 crore film which is the maximum by any director in Bollywood.
On 15th November Yash Raj Films has released the teaser & first look of its first-ever historical epic action drama movie Prithviraj produced by Aditya Chopra & starring Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar in the lead roles. The movie is based on the story of one of the bravest warriors of our country Prithviraj Chauhan.
Akshay Kumar will play the titular role while Manushi Chhillar who is making her debut in Bollywood with this movie, will be playing the character of Prithviraj’s wife Sanyogita.
The teaser hinted to us that we are going to witness the epic battle between Prithviraj Chauhan & Muhammad of Ghor in the most authentic way.

Akshay Kumar & Director Chandraprakash Dwivedi’s Maiden Collaboration:
Chandraprakash Dwivedi who has directed movies like Zed Plus, Mohalla Assi, will direct Prithviraj. This is the first time Akshay Kumar is collaborating with director Chandraprakash Dwivedi. This is also the first time Akshay Kumar will be sharing the screen space with Manushi Chhillar.
Other cast includes Sanjay Dutt as Kaka Kanha, Sonu Sood as Chand Bardai, Manav Vij as Muhammad Ghori, Ashutosh Rana as Jayachandra, Lalit Tiwari as Anangpal Tomar, Govind Pandey as Pajawan.
Sakshi Tanwar, Ajoy Chakrabarty, Deependra Singh, Nikkita Chadha will be also playing crucial roles in Prithviraj.
Akshay Kumar will also feature in upcoming movies like Gorkha, Mission Cinderella, OMG – Oh My God! 2, Ram Setu, Raksha Bandhan, Bachchan Pandey.
