Baazi Movie: Jeet, Mimi Starrer Bengali Movie Will Arrive on Durga Puja 2021

The film will be released in theatres on 10th October 2021, during the Durga Puja festival.

Jeet and Director Anshuman Pratyush’s Maiden Collaboration:

Jeet and director Anshuman Pratyush are collaborating for the first time for their upcoming project “Baazi”. Mimi Chakraborty is the female lead in the movie. Sabyasachi Chakraborty, Abhishek Chatterjee, Bishwanath Basu, and Devdut Ghosh will also be portraying crucial roles in the movie.

The action thriller was earlier scheduled for a release on 14th May 2021 but the makers had to postpone it due to the pandemic.

Baazi is the first theatrical release of Jeet since director Pavel Bhattacharjee’s movie “Asur” in 2020 which also starred Abir Chatterjee and Nusrat Jahan.

Music director Jeet Ganguli will compose the songs of Baazi. The only song released from the movie was “Aaye Na Kache Re” which was sung by Nakash Aziz.

“Baazi” is the official remake of director Sukumar’s movie “Nannaku Prematho” starring N. T. Rama Rao Jr. & Rakul Preet Singh.

Jeet made his big-screen debut in 2001 with a Telugu movie titled “Chandu”. He made his debut in Bengali Film Industry with the movie “Sathi” in 2002. The romantic drama movie was directed by Haranath Chakraborty and co-starred Priyanka Trivedi. It was the highest-grossing Bengali movie of 2002. Jeet won multiple awards for his outstanding performance in the “Sathi” movie.

“Baazi” and “Golondaaj” will clash on Durga Puja 2021

Jeet’s upcoming movie “Baazi” and Dev’s upcoming movie “Golondaaj” will clash on this Durga Puja 2021 as both movies will be released on 10^th October 2021.

Golondaaj is the 3^rd movie of director DhruboBanerjee after Guptodhoner Sondhane, Durgeshgorer Guptodhon. Dev will play the character of Nagendra Prasad Sarbadhikari. Ishaa Saha will be portraying the character of Nagendra's wife Kamalini. Alexx O'Nell, Anirban Bhattacharya, Indrasish Roy, John Bhattacharya, Srikanta Acharya, and Joydip Mukherjee are also having crucial roles in “Golondaaj”. Music director Bickram Ghosh will compose the songs for this movie.
