After almost 3 years of releasing Shei Je Holud Pakhi season 1, Hoichoi has finally released season 2 on 14^th April 2021.

Sei Je Holud Pakhi 2 Story & Performances:

On a recap of season 1, we saw that an investigation was started for Vaidehi’s(Tridha Chowdhury) death. On suspicion Police Officer Somnath Maitra(Saswata Chatterjee) was suspended.

Many of us who have seen season 1 of Shei Je Holud Pakhi were waiting for season 2 eagerly to find the truth of singing star Vaidehi’s death.

Due to the intervention of the Home Minister, Officer Somnath Maitra got the opportunity to re-join the duty. This time he will be assisted by his ex-colleague Anuradha Mukherjee(Rupanjana Mitra). His failure in finding his missing daughter Mitil still haunts him.

Home Minister removes Kousik(Shoumo Banerjee) from Vaidehi’s case to appoint him in some other tasks. She also informed them about Vaidehi’s mother Karuna(Bidipta Chakraborty) who is currently in an asylum.

Through his initial research and clues, Somnath Maitra found Diganta Bose(Koushik Sen) is the prime suspect of Vaidehi’s death. Diganta Bose also throws the challenge to Somnath Maitra for proving him the killer of Vaidehi.

Director Joydeep Mukherjee’s previous release “Detective” on Hoichoi was an entertaining one. The thriller Shei Je Holud Pakhi 2 looks far better than season 1. Upali Chattopadhyay, Raja Narayan Deb’s music was top-notch.

Tridha Chowdhury was the show stealer in Shei Je Holud Pakhi season 2. Her innocence, passion for music, love for Diganta, almost everything will make you fall for her character. You might have also seen her magnificent performances in "Aashram" and "Bandish Bandits" web series.

I think many of us who have seen Saswata Chatterjee playing the character of Shabor Dasgupta will surely like him here also. He was equally impressive throughout the series.

He was very well complimented by Rupanjana Mitra. Her toughness as an officer to handle criminals was highly impressive.

Shoumo Banerjee is consistently providing good performances in supporting roles. He has delivered some mentionable inputs in series like Damayanti and Nokol Heere.

Koushik Sen’s Diganta, Chandreyee Ghosh’s Jonaki, and Prantik Banerjee’s Rik characters were other mentionable contributors.
