Halahal Movie Review:
Halahal Movie was released on 21st September 2020. The story revolves around Dr. Shiv Shankar Sharma( played by Sachin Khedekar) who is in deep shock after the sudden demise of his daughter Archana (played by Enab Kizra).
Many of us are well aware that the Vyapam Scam( (Vyavsayik Pariksha Mandal) happened in 2013 in Madhya Pradesh. The involvement of several politicians, officials, and businessmen in that scam had shaken the education industry.
Coming back to this movie, the mysterious death of Archana, a bright medical student, forced her father Shiv Shankar to know the truth of this incident. The Police declared it a suicide case but her father was not ready to accept it.
During his visit to Archana’s college, he saw a suspicious girl and met with her to find out the truth. The story looked more interesting with the entry of a corrupted cop Yusuf (played by Barun Sobti).
He always looks for money by saving corrupt people from the police. Shiv Shankar requested Yusuf to help him to find out the truth about his daughter’s death.
Shiv Shankar also gave a bribe to Yusuf for this job. Yusuf helped him with some clues and fixed meetings with some important people to find out the truth.
Sachin Khedekar who is known for some of his great works in movies like Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose: The Forgotten Hero, Aap Kaa Surroor, and Astitva is simply brilliant in the Halahal movie. His body languages, and emotional scenes all were up to the mark.
Barun Sobti has already delivered some solid performances in “Asur” and “22 Yards”. He has done a great job here and shows his ability to do any kind of character beautifully.
The rest of the characters tried well to impress with their less screen presence but none of them left any good impact.
Director Randeep Jha delivers a good mystery thriller on his debut as a director. He was successful in keeping the suspense alive till the end. We might see some more great works from him in the coming days also.
