Ahead of the grand occasion of Vikram Chatterjee's birthday on 17th May, the talented actor shared the official teaser of his upcoming web series Taarkata on 16th May 2026. The web series, directed by Samik Roy Choudhury, also features Meiyang Chang, Priyanka Sarkar, Satyam Bhattacharya, Joydeep Mukherjee, Sushmita Roy, and Ayush Das in significant roles.
The nearly one-minute teaser presents Vikram Chatterjee in an angry young man avatar as an ex-cop who is now working as an investigator and probing the death of a don’s son. The teaser is well edited and compact, with action sequences and punchlines delivered by Vikram Chatterjee emerging as its major highlights.
The series marks director Samik Roy Choudhury’s maiden collaboration with Vikram Chatterjee, Meiyang Chang, Priyanka Sarkar, Satyam Bhattacharya, and Joydeep Mukherjee. And like every project, the efforts of Vikram Chatterjee are clearly visible.
Since 2023, he has worked on several fabulous projects like Shesh Pata, Shohorer Ushnotomo Din E, Pariah, Surjo, Omorshongi, Durgapur Junction, Raas, and Mrigaya: The Hunt. There are strong expectations surrounding Taarkata as the series is set to premiere on ZEE5 in June 2026.
The series has been produced by Avinaba Ghosh under Vikram Chatterjee Films, marking the beginning of Vikram Chatterjee’s journey as a producer.
