On May 11, 2024, SVF Entertainment unveiled the official poster of their upcoming action thriller Toofan, directed by Raihan Rafi. Jointly produced by Alpha-i, Chorki, & SVF Entertainment, the action entertainer stars Megastar Shakib Khan in the titular role. Chanchal Chowdhury, Mimi Chakraborty, & Masuma Rahman Nabila are the other stars who have been officially onboarded for this film.
The first look poster features Shakib Khan with a beard and long hair, wearing a dark, possibly navy-blue suit with a white shirt. Mimi Chakraborty is seen wearing a sleeveless, sequined dress in a rich burgundy color, with long, dangling earrings and styled hair in a wet look, slicked back on the sides. The poster hints at a top-notch on-screen romance between them.
This marks the first collaboration between Raihan Rafi and Shakib Khan. Additionally, it is the first time Chanchal Chowdhury and Shakib Khan will share the screen. Shakib Khan and Mimi Chakraborty are also pairing up for the first time opposite each other.
Earlier, the makers unveiled the official teaser of Toofan, which garnered more than 1 crore views, indicating tremendous anticipation for the film's theatrical release on Eid Ul Adha. Raihan Rafi's presentation of Shakib Khan in the teaser has raised audience expectations. The teaser showcases the efforts the makers are investing in the film, and hopefully, it will set a new milestone for the industry.
