On 2nd April 2024, Surinder Films unveiled the official poster of their upcoming romantic drama Alaap. Directed by Premendu Bikash Chaki, the film stars Abir Chatterjee and Mimi Chakraborty in the lead roles. Kinjal Nanda, Tonni Laha Roy, and Swastika Dutta will be seen in supporting roles.
The official motion poster features Mimi Chakraborty reading a book on the balcony with a smile on her face, while Abir Chatterjee is seen listening to a song and working on his laptop.
The story of Alaap has been written by Premendu Bikash Chaki. Padmanabha Dasgupta has penned the screenplay, Anirban Chatterjee is responsible for the cinematography, MD Kalam is in charge of the editing, and Anupam Roy has composed the music for this film. It is produced by Surinder Singh and Nispal Singh.
This is the first time Abir Chatterjee has collaborated with director Premendu Bikash Chaki, while Mimi Chakraborty has previously worked with the director in Palasher Biye.
Last year, Abir Chatterjee and Mimi Chakraborty appeared together in Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee’s Raktabeej, which was a massive hit. We hope this pair continues their success at the box office. Alaap will hit the theatres on 26th April 2024.
