On April 28, 2024, Surinder Films unveiled the first-look poster of their upcoming romantic drama film Ajogya, directed by Kaushik Ganguly. The film marks the 50th collaboration of two Bengali film industry superstars, Prosenjit Chatterjee and Rituparna Sengupta.
The first-look poster features Prosenjit Chatterjee and Rituparna Sengupta, both with intense expressions, and a red stripe covering one side of Prosenjit Chatterjee's face. Silajit Majumder, Lily Chakraborty, Sudip Mukherjee, & Ambarish Bhattacharya will play crucial roles in this film.
The story and screenplay of Ajogya have been written by Kaushik Ganguly. Gopi Bhagat is handling the cinematography, and Subhadeep Singha is responsible for the editing. Indraadip Dasgupta, Anupam Roy, & Ranajoy Bhattacharjee will compose the music for the film, with Indraadip Dasgupta overseeing the background score.
The film also marks Kaushik Ganguly’s 10th collaboration with Gopi Bhagat & 9th collaboration with Indraadip Dasgupta. Earlier, the makers confirmed that the film will hit theaters on June 7, coinciding with the release of Jeet’s Boomerang.
