On March 9, 2024, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment confirmed the release date of their upcoming romantic drama titled Sanki.
The film stars Ahan Shetty and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles and will mark the directorial debut of Adnan A. Shaikh and Yasir Jah.
Ahan Shetty made his acting debut with director Milan Luthria's romantic action film Tadap in 2021. Though the film did not achieve significant success at the box office, Ahan Shetty delivered impressive performances.
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film will hit theaters on February 14, 2025, on the occasion of Valentine’s Day. Rajat Aroraa, known for his work on films like "Azhar," "Tadap," "Kick," "The Dirty Picture," and "Taxi No 9211," has penned the story of Sanki.
The film marks the maiden collaboration between Ahan Shetty and Adnan A. Shaikh & Yasir Jah. It also marks the first time Ahan Shetty and Pooja Hegde will share the screen space.
Pooja Hegde was last seen in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan opposite Salman Khan, and she will also be seen in Deva opposite Shahid Kapoor.
